SPEAKING

Talks that people are still repeating weeks later.

Grace Mosuro, The Organisational Inclusionist, speaks to leadership teams, staff networks and conference audiences about culture, identity and what it really takes to make inclusion last.

STORY FIRST. CHANGE NEXT.

Not a lecture. A conversation people recognise themselves in.

Grace was born in Nigeria and raised in the UK. She arrived aged five, without a word of English, and learned early what it means to be read before you’ve spoken. She has spent more than 18 years helping organisations close the gap between what they say about inclusion and what people actually experience.

Her talks start with lived experience and end with practical action. Audiences leave with a story to retell, an idea to hold on to, and one thing to do differently, starting the next day.

The Cultures That Made Us

Celebrating community, carrying it into work

Long before culture becomes a line in a strategy, it’s a home. Grace celebrates the cultures that shape us, then looks honestly at what happens when they meet the unwritten rules of work: how quiet gets misread, how respect gets scored as a lack of ambition, and who ends up rated “fine”. Audiences leave seeing their colleagues differently, and with one small habit to change how their team listens.

Best for: Black History Month, cultural Celebrations, staff networks, all-staff events

WORKSHOPS

Spotlight on Race Equality

Mastering the Balance

After the All Clear: Why “Back to Normal” Isn’t Always Possible

“All clear” ended Grace’s treatment. It didn’t end her story.

Drawing on her own experience of breast cancer, Grace goes beneath the visible signs of recovery to talk honestly about changed identity, invisible long-term effects, and the pressure to perform resilience for other people’s comfort.

This session helps colleagues and leaders stop fearing the wrong thing to say, and rethink what real support looks like.

Best for: wellbeing weeks, health and disability events, managers and people leaders

Remote work, family responsibilities and travel commitments

A practical workshop for parents and carers juggling work with caring responsibilities. Participants learn to structure remote working around family life, plan travel with minimal disruption at home, and set boundaries that protect both their work and their wellbeing. It also covers giving themselves grace when things don’t go perfectly.

Best for: parents’ and carers’ networks, wellbeing programmes

Unveiling the Intersectionality Blind Spot

Many inclusion strategies aren’t fully hitting the mark, and a single-issue approach is often why. Grace explains how overlapping identities such as race, gender, class, culture and disability create experiences that one-size-fits-all programmes miss. She shows where organisations commonly get it wrong, from single-axis initiatives to tokenism, and what an intersectional approach looks like in practice.

Best for: leadership teams, HR and inclusion leads, conferences

A clear, safe introduction to race equality for people who want to understand it properly. Grace covers what race means today and the history behind it, how privilege, bias and microaggressions show up at work, and what active allyship looks like. There’s plenty of space for questions, and practical strategies to take forward.

Best for: teams early in their race equality journey, Race Equality Week

Every session is tailored after a briefing call with your team, so it fits your people, your context and what you want them to do next.

Who I Work With

I work with senior leaders, HR Directors, Chief Executives and Boards who know something needs to change, and want a partner who will help them understand what that actually means for their organisation, not just hand them a framework and leave.

My clients come from across sectors: universities and higher education institutions, local authorities, financial and professional services, media organisations and the third sector. What they have in common isn't their industry, it's the challenge. Leadership teams that aren't aligned. Policies that exist on paper but don't show up in practice. Employees who've stopped expecting things to change. A gap between the organisation's stated values and the culture people actually experience.

That's the work. Closing the gap, with honesty, structure and staying power.

I'm also available as a public speaker for conferences, leadership events and panel discussions on inclusion, culture change and organisational leadership. If you're looking for a speaker who will challenge your audience and leave them with something they can actually use, get in touch.
